Automatic pallet transport for a stable and continuous production process at Bravilor Bonamat with SafanDarley

Samenwerking Safan Darley bij Bravilor Bonamat

In the manufacturing industry, everything revolves around continuity, efficiency and the smart deployment of people and resources. Bravilor Bonamat, a manufacturer of high-quality coffee machines, wanted to take a step forward in this within their production environment. In collaboration with SafanDarley, we integrated our automation solutions into Bravilor Bonamat’s new production line, which features a SafanDarley robotic press brake.

Within production processes, the handling of pallets is a repetitive and physically demanding task. It is necessary work, but not the kind of work where skilled workers can truly show their value. Furthermore, manual pallet transport creates dependency: if someone is unavailable, the process grinds to a halt. At Bravilor Bonamat they wanted a process where robot cells could produce continuously without interruptions and 24/7.

Our AGVs ensure empty pallets are delivered and full pallets are picked up fully automatically, in combination with the Pallet Dispenser Basicline. No more waiting times and no more manual handling. Thanks to the modular design, KUMATECH’s systems integrate seamlessly with those of SafanDarley, both physically and in terms of software. A fine example of how collaboration within the manufacturing industry leads to strong solutions.

Less physical strain, uninterrupted production, stability in the production process and, above all, allowing people to do the work where they add value. Automation is not about replacing people, but about supporting them. The heavy, repetitive work is taken off their hands so employees can focus on craftsmanship, quality and process monitoring.

Watch the SafanDarley video below to get an idea of the whole project and how the system works.
