Forklift Joe
The Forklift Joe doesn't shy away from any pallet!
We also call Forklift Joe the big brother of our Pallet Jack. They look a lot alike but with its counterweight and narrow forks, Forklift Joe goes one step further. The forks can lift in a cantilevered manner, allowing closed pallets as well as pallets directly from production lines or workstations with a closed base to be picked up effortlessly.
The extra narrow and thin forks provide more margin in the openings of the pallet/carrier.

Description
Floor to floor pallet transport
In situations where it is desired pallets always remain directly on the floor, the KUMATECH Forklift Joe or Pallet Jack is the solution. In fact, both AGVs can lift a pallet from floor level and put it away up to a height of 1.200 mm and vice versa.
For a correct operation of the system it’s required pallets are on a defined position. The AGVs assume a fixed position of the pallet.
Variation in levels of pallet transport
The KUMATECH Forklift Joe and Pallet Jack also provide the solution for situations where different levels of pallet loading and unloading are desired, up to 1.200 mm in height.
In a production environment, production is often QRM, the machines with subsequent stages are optimally coordinated to create minimum intermediate stocks. Because the capacity differences of the machines fluctuate, a minimum inventory is still necessary in order to achieve a constant supply and discharge.
A simple pallet rack can be sufficient to make this possible. Pallet Jack and Forklift Joe automatically load and unload this pallet rack with pallets.
